How it works

A transfer, step by step

We're a matchmaker with a checklist. The provider decides, the two people agree, and booking money never passes through us. Here's exactly what happens.

  1. List it free

Tell us what you booked, when, what you paid and what you'd take. Upload the receipt, contract or confirmation so we can read the transfer terms. It stays private.

  2. We check the paperwork

We read the cancellation and transfer terms, confirm the booking looks real, and mark the listing “Proof reviewed” before it goes live.

  3. Meet the right person

Buyers ask about your listing through us. When there's a match we introduce you by email. Your contact details are never shown publicly.

  4. The provider signs off

The camp, studio, venue or host confirms in writing that the new person can take the spot. No sign-off, no transfer.

  5. Money goes to the provider, not us

Where possible, the buyer pays the provider directly. Otherwise they reimburse you, only after the provider confirms. We never hold anyone's money.

  6. Our fee, only on success

Once the provider confirms, you pay our 8% success fee through a secure Stripe link. If nothing transfers, you owe nothing.

What we check before a listing goes live

  • The proof is real and matches the listing: provider, date, name, amounts
  • What the terms say about transfer (allowed, needs approval, or not allowed)
  • Cancellation terms and any provider transfer or name-change fee
  • That the provider exists, using its own website and public contact details
  • For memberships and class packs: proof that transfer is allowed, or the provider's written OK

Listings get a “Proof reviewed” badge once we've done this, and a “Provider approved transfer” badge if the provider has already said yes in writing.

How the money moves

  • No payment before the provider approves. Not to the seller, not to anyone.
  • Where possible: the buyer registers or signs with the provider and pays the provider directly. The provider settles the seller's deposit or credit under its own policy.
  • Otherwise: the provider simply puts the booking in the buyer's name, and the buyer reimburses the seller an agreed amount, only after the provider confirms in writing, using a payment method with a paper trail.
  • Our fee: once the provider confirms, the seller gets a secure Stripe payment link for our 8% success fee. We never touch the booking money.

How we confirm with the provider

We contact the camp, studio, venue or host ourselves, using the email or phone number published on its own website, and ask it to confirm in writing: the booking, the original customer, the new customer, and any transfer fee. We don't accept a “provider confirmation” forwarded by either side. This one rule stops most scams.
