List it free
Tell us what you booked, when, what you paid and what you'd take. Upload the receipt, contract or confirmation so we can read the transfer terms. It stays private.
We check the paperwork
We read the cancellation and transfer terms, confirm the booking looks real, and mark the listing “Proof reviewed” before it goes live.
Meet the right person
Buyers ask about your listing through us. When there's a match we introduce you by email. Your contact details are never shown publicly.
The provider signs off
The camp, studio, venue or host confirms in writing that the new person can take the spot. No sign-off, no transfer.
Money goes to the provider, not us
Where possible, the buyer pays the provider directly. Otherwise they reimburse you, only after the provider confirms. We never hold anyone's money.
Our fee, only on success
Once the provider confirms, you pay our 8% success fee through a secure Stripe link. If nothing transfers, you owe nothing.
Anyone can post “spot for sale.” We check.
Proof, reviewed
We read every receipt or contract before a listing goes live, including the cancellation and transfer terms.
Provider sign-off
A transfer only completes when the provider confirms in writing. We contact them using details from their own website.
No money in the middle
Buyers pay the provider directly where possible, or reimburse the seller after the provider confirms. We never hold funds.

Questions people ask
What can I list?
Prepaid, nonrefundable bookings you can't use: event and party bookings, camps, memberships and class packs, classes and workshops, directly booked vacation rentals and retreats, and wedding venues and vendors. We're starting in Los Angeles, but you can list from anywhere in the US. We don't list hotel rooms, restaurant reservations or concert tickets.
Is it allowed to transfer a nonrefundable booking?
It depends on the provider's terms. Some allow transfers (sometimes for a fee), many need written approval, and some forbid it outright. That's why every transfer on Unrefundable needs the provider to confirm in writing, and why we ask for proof of the terms. We are not lawyers and nothing here is legal advice.
What does it cost?
Listing is free. If your booking transfers, you (the seller) pay a 8% success fee on the amount you recover. If nothing transfers, you pay nothing. Buyers pay us nothing.
Do you hold the money?
No. We never hold or pass along payments. Where the provider can re-book or re-assign, the buyer pays the provider directly. Where the provider simply swaps the name, the buyer reimburses the seller directly, only after the provider confirms in writing. Our only charge is the seller's success fee, paid by card through Stripe.
How do you stop scams?
Every listing needs proof (a receipt, contract or confirmation), which we review before anything goes live. We contact the provider using details from the provider's own website, not details a seller gives us. A transfer completes only when the provider confirms it in writing. Never send money to anyone before that.
Can I sell my gym membership or class pack?
Only if the gym or studio allows it. Many memberships and class packs are non-transferable, and platform credits (like ClassPass) can't be transferred at all. List it only if your terms allow transfer or you can get the provider's written approval. In California, health club contracts must let you cancel if you move more than 25 miles away or become disabled, so check that first.
That booking still has value.
Someone is looking for exactly what you can't use. List it free, and pay only if it finds a new owner.
